My learning curve is pretty much like that one that settles after you have reached a higher point. Then you have to wait until it scales a little more. There have been times when I feel like after reaching a higher point, I take a step back. For every person the learning curve is quite different, it all depends on how you exercise what you are mastering. When looking at other people that have gain success on the things you like, you feel like you were not born for it. It is easy to get discourage when starting. It is well known that the one that reaches the top is the one that endures to the end. What I will put in practice now in my business is hard work and planning. I have to put more practice on what I do. My wife and I have a goal for this year, to own our chocolate store, rent a place and make a living of it. The lack of resources is also a main reason why we have not done it yet. So, we will plan to get better suppliers and try to find those places selling at the lowes...

I loved every single video and reading. Especially Elder N Eldon Tanner and the part that Wences says that it is not about money, being an entrepreneur is in our blood and we would still do it even if no money would be involved. Every time I read these kinds of texts and watch these videos I realize that I can’t go back to an office. I want to start something of my own. I want to do what I love and what I know will make others happy. It is not a thing about money because other wise I would be in the bank industry or else. Rather, it is about self-realization and accomplishment. Elder Tanner really made me ponder somewhat related to what Elder Godoy from the presidency of our area taught us. We should be committed until the point where God says, it’s ok…it is done. I am so glad of having those feelings, because I feel back up with what the Spirit tells me and what my wife tells me. All this time I have tried to make schedules, plans to organize better my time and work on the ide...

5th week

My personal board of advisors was my favourite activity of this week. The first thing that impressed me was that I wasn't the chairman. I was a little confused, but I came to know that if I get to be the chairman probably I wouldn't listen anyone. Having someone with greater influence or power help you control your impulses, that's why I chose my wife to be seated there. She is the only person able to make me understand why sometimes a good choice is to chance my mind. The rest were chosen among my family and former bishops. All the people selected have my respect and consideration. They are probably the only people I would listen unconditionally.  I believe a board of advisors is really important, I guess this works exactly like family councils. The best opportunity a family has to face its problems is by doing a council. Having a board of advisors will help greatly to keep the right track and keep the company's, or one's goals clear and don't take decisions...

3rd week

This week was full of many assignments for the university. As I work towards my major all other aspects of my life are taking shape as well. It has been tough to keep up with all the work. However, this week has been great. The many assignments flow as in a symphony. They all talk about, what most of us unconscious already know, chasing your goals and dreams. Choosing the best partners is as important as the idea you're trying to build. My wife and I experienced that when trying to start our chocolate business with our brother in law. We talked and decided to form this company together. Soon after we found ourselves doing everyone's chores and taking care of the whole company system. We hated it. Getting the right people on the bus is deadly important otherwise you'll crash into a brick wall. My favourite assignment was deconstructing my fears. I have never written down my fears and put them on paper to read them. I was embarrassed about how stupid my fears were, how simple...
